~This is not a Romance~
A Zinger of a Zombie Apocalypse at it’s finest!
The author did a superb job of extending my reading genre. The vivid images his writing style brought to my mind had me cowering in fright in the dark of night. I clearly heard every haunting moan, scream and groan these ‘creatures’ emitted throughout the story. The gore was extreme, the blood, guts, grime and military scenes were sick, gross and absolutely intense. This story had me locking my doors, securing my windows, shutting my closet door tight and looking under the bed before closing my eyes. I loved every jaw dropping word he wrote.
Baker is definitely my new BBF, this heroic soldier is completely honorable, fearless, and unstoppable. I love how he shows his feelings in the battle to contain this atrocious infected strain and with every loss he endures of his fallen comrades. I enjoyed reading about Baker’s team and each of their characters and attributes.
I’m eagerly awaiting the return of my ‘Cherry’ and all his charms!

I’m thirty-two years old and live in a small town in beautiful Ontario with my two dogs. I was born and raised h…ere. I went to school in Montreal and Ottawa. I studied French, Women’s Studies and Literature but wasn’t the most focused student. I took creative writing classes in school but it wasn’t till I got back to my hometown and was working as a waitress that I really started writing. I’m an only child and both my parents passed away when I was quite young. I do feel a bit alone in the world.
I like to write about strong, adventurous women. They are the kinds of women I like to imagine I am, or at least would be if I had the courage. The protagonist usually has a difficult past or family life and is up against the world in some way. My stories are fairly graphic and erotic, but I also include a good story, strong character development, and a genuinely full and engaging reading experience.
The sexual themes I write about all come from my own, private fantasies. They are the kinds of things I imagine happening to me, even though I know they are unlikely in real life.

I have read all of the Others of Edenton novels thus far. The others I could not put down. They held my attention and I could not wait to see what would happen next. This one it took longer to get into. Was still a good story, just did not hold my rapt attention as it seemed to take longer to get to any romance or thrilling danger.
