5 – Roses – Strong Young Love
Shula Kelley is the strong heroine in this captivating series based around the year 2250 in Texas which has segregated from the United States. Texas in this era has converted back to the old ways in which women were born and raised to be barefoot and in the kitchen. They are controlled and heavily monitored, they are taught from birth to submit fully to their husbands without any learning, reading, writing or complaints of any kind. Arranged Marriages is the way, the only way in this dark era only Shula decides to stand up and fight for her right to live, learn and Love.
~Shula~ Jared seemed nice enough. He was painfully shy, quiet, and probably handsome. He had disappeared after he took the death of Anna quite hard, so his father had deigned to fulfill it himself.
Jared is the luscious Hero that patiently waits for his intended bride from a pre-arranged marriage. Jared is a smart and independent, a computer guru that contrives to make a name and a future for his intended without the aide of his father who is king of this generation. His sole purpose is to see that his bride lives in comfort and is well satisfied while he seeks justice and the demise of his controlling father.
~Jared~ As much as he’d wanted Shula, as much as he’d always known that she was intended for him, he knew his father would take her from him. She would have to be patient and he would have to be strong.
5 – Hearts – Couples – Soul Mates
This couple have a rocky start, yet they overcome their preconceived notions they are taught and start learning, teaching, and growing to love each other. This Author has a way of bringing dark and humor together, you find yourself both stimulated and laughing at the same time. The erotic scenes these two fight to share with each other are both enchanting and arousing.
~ Jared ~ ‘Hopefully he could make her repeat the sound she made right before he painfully pulled away.’
~Shula~ ‘The was so much importance placed on my purity, it made me angry, so I took care of it myself. I used my fingers, then I moved to cucumbers and squash.’
There is so much more to this story and I wait anxiously for the next installment. I need to see James the King, the father of lies, the shame of the devil himself get his penance. I will be there waiting to read about the women who finally burn their bras and the family who rise against their tyrant of a father and come together finally as a whole.
Thank You Arden Aoide, I cannot wait for the next installment to this new dark stimulating thriller with a touch of only your humor one relates to.
