Bethany Shaw is one of my favorite shifter authors and this book did not disappoint. It is a quick read but a good story. I loved the characters Eric and Lexi. this book kept me hooked from the beginning. Eric and Lexi aren’t suppose to be together, his parents send him away to keep them apart. Lexi move on and returns to town a few years later with a son. Can they rekindle their love, or is it to late?

I picked this book up when I needed something light and not too serious. From the moment I started to read I was drawn into the story and I wanted to know more about the characters I was reading about. I found the characters to be well developed and it was really an enjoyable read. I am definitely planing on reading this book again. I felt the world that the characters lived in was well developed and I felt like I could reach out and touch it. I wanted to curl up with Erik and run my fingers through his fur. Lexi’s fear that Erik would leave her again felt very real and I could understand her fears.
